Adrenal Fatigue Supplements for Fibromyalgia

July 31, 2010 by Lisa

this is an email conversation I had with a woman – she said I could post it here.

What are the supplements you use for adrenal fatigue? I think I need that one now. On probiotics for my Crohn’s disease. I can take the pain. I just can’t take this exhaustion, I haven’t experienced it this bad before

I took these adrenal supplements for a while.

I don’t need them anymore though – these are good to start,, but I found I needed to restructure my life a bit and that has helped the most. I simplified a lot, and have started to ‘allow’ people a lot more, especially those I love. Less anger, frustration, yelling .. more go with the flow, etc. It really does change your energy level.

DO you think the book Fatigued to Fantastic is worth purchasing? Got blood work back and Vitamin B12 levels are a little low so I will be getting injections for the next 4 weeks. I just want a supplement to jump start my energy again.

Honestly, I haven’t read it yet. I hope to so I can review it, but I tried the capsules without having found the book. Maybe you could find it at your libray.

Maybe I will start with the capsules and try the library for the book. It’s not that much but have to find time to read it. Thought about trying the D Ribose too. Have you tried that.

I did read your ebook and it was helpful. Trying to add 1 new thing at a time. I see my pain doc on Thursday and plan to talk to her about some of the supplements. SHe is in to more holistic approaches. After my pap smear appointment next week I think I am going to change my primary care doc. She has no empathy. When I saw her on Wed so was kind of like well it;s only going to get better as you go through menopasue. Didn’t realize she is not really in to supplements. Thanks for all your help. Will keep you posted

cool. Did you get my newest version of the book? The one that talks about the stuff recommended in the permanent pain cure? Like HIGH doses of fish oil and enzymes – I think those are really good ones. My son’s naturopath recommended one of them (serraflazyme) for scar tissue in his ears so I am double sold on it. Those are good ones to talk with your doc about, I bet.

ok, best of luck to you! Lisa

p.s. … do you mind if I post this on my website withOUT your personal information? It may help someone else. Lisa

No problem. I think I got your newest version.
I already take a High dose of fish oils as a natural treatment for my Crohn’s disease and also take Golden Health Flora source Probiotics.

  2. I have considerably cured myself as well via deep tissue massage and medical mj. I no longer need the med mj now. Like you, it took me a long time, I am happy that I put my mind to it, as you did. I believe we can be healed from FM.

  10. i believe my severe severe fibro is from manhy sources,
here’s a couple of tops: infection actually in the fascia, extreme adrenal fatigue,
5% of 100% iron storage and lastly a folate acid deficiency. I had a huge flair the other day b/c of a bad stress situation and now have the body wide muscle stiffness,
burning and searing as if i’m in a shrink wrap bodywide.

    any ideas?

p.s. I also try to take supplements but they don’t get very far down my “gullet”
my channels are blocked and i have motility issues

    it’s almost like scelderma

  12. Have you poked around on this site at all? there’s a lot of ideas on it – gentle, restorative yoga would be a good place to start, as would liquid supplements. They taste bad but go straight down. Maybe start with magnesium and vitamin d3 and see what happens. And the folic acid if you can find it in liquid form. How about coconut oil? Do you eat that? Good luck! Lisa
