Why Fibromyalgia Starts With an Illness Sometimes
Sometimes Fibromyalgia Starts with an Illness … here’s why I believe it happens in many cases.
For me, it was a pregnancy. I had symptoms for much of my life but it was directly after my pregnancy that they got so out of control that my life was put on hold for a bit.
So, imagine that stress chemicals are marbles in a big jar – a jar as big as your body.
When the jar is full: Imagine that when the jar is full and the marbles that are being put in there start falling out, that’s the tipping point where anyone would develop fibromyalgia symptoms (or another disease or pain syndrome).
the Jar can be mostly full with no symptoms: So, imagine someone who has led a big life and does have big dreams and big problems and her jar is about three-fourths full by the time she reaches adulthood. She doesn’t have discernable symptoms, but her body is working pretty hard to keep her symptom-free and manage its other functions too.
Illness as a tipping point: Then, she gets an illness – and in the process of the illness, her body works so hard to recover that the other quarter fills up with marbles in three weeks.
And, by the time she is recovered from her illness, she is in constant pain and tired all the time. And eventually, she gets a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia.
So What’s the solution? The same as it is when there was not an illness – drain the body of stress chemicals and start regaining health bit by bit. Get my book for my best help with this
